It was built as a residence for the Blas family. It was designed as a home first, which can be seen in its decor as they were chosen with care to create an atmosphere that is  old-fashioned, captivating and tender. Then as Laoag City enjoyed an convergence of tourists and business travelers, the decision was eventually made to open its doors to "guests". Welcome home!

Located in Laoag - the Sunshine City, Balay da Blas Pensionne House is near the Capitol of Ilocos Norte. It is accessible to many of the local attractions and public transportation and is only 15 minutes away from the Laoag City International Airport.

At Balay da Blas, every room has been innovated and furnished with both old and new furnishings, from antique pieces of furniture to paintings on the wall. Every element complementing each other to exude a sense of coolness and comfort.

Don't let the bucolic charm fool you. We offer amenities you would find in a hotel such as Cable Television and WiFi Internet Access for the business traveller and those who simply cannot stay out of touch for long.

Balay da Blas offers a Bed & Breakfast package and also provides lunch and dinner from the Saramsam Ylocano Restaurant and Bar. You can dine Al Fresco in our garden or within the privacy of your own suite.

Balay da Blas Pension House is well situated in the heart of Laoag City. It is only two kilometers away from the Museo Ilocos Norte, which paragon the cultural heritage of the Ilocanos and the different ethnic tribes of Ilocos Norte.

It is also near such sites as the St. Williams Cathedral, known for its Italian Renaissance design and its Sinking Bell Tower as well as other historical sites of Laoag City.
